I already have an Alice account. Can I use it?
Yes. Sign in with the same email and you go straight to your account, already signed in. Whenever you like, you can try the new Alice from the menu there.
What can I upload?
Lecture slides, notes, readings, past exams and photos of the whiteboard: PDFs, PowerPoint, Word and images.
How is this different from ChatGPT?
Alice works only from your own course, shows you where each answer comes from, and keeps track of what you've learned.
Can Alice get things wrong?
Sometimes, which is why Alice doesn't answer from the whole internet. It works from your own slides, notes and readings, so what you learn matches what your course actually teaches, and every answer shows the page it came from, so you can check it yourself.
How does Alice know when I'm ready for the exam?
Alice finds the learning goals in your course. As you practice, it keeps track of which you've learned and which you still miss, and shows your progress goal by goal.
Can I use it for more than one course?
Yes. Make a course for each subject and upload its files. Alice keeps every course separate.
Which languages does Alice speak?
The app is in English, Danish, Norwegian, Swedish, German and Dutch. Alice answers in the language you write in, and makes quizzes, flashcards, podcasts and notes in the language of your materials, unless you pick another one for the course.
What happens to my files?
They're used to help you study, and you can delete them, or your whole account, at any time. Our privacy policy says what we keep and why.
